i've ridden a K1200S. it is a superb bike. would i buy one? well, if i had
lots more disposable income, sure. but for an essentially equivalent
experience for significantly less 'life cycle cost' [the beemer resale
advantage is eaten up by its operating cost], i'm going for the gravel-road
Sprint, aka Tiger. yes, i tried the GS also. nice. i'll still take a Tiger.

now if BMW builds an 800GS, or Triumph builds a 675 Tiger Cub, i'll be test
riding again.
