Kevin, Mine is an "S" model which is the dual-sport type. I've done a few minor mods to make it perform better in the dirt. Rad guards are worth the cost -- one crash can wipe out the rad on that side easily. Lower gearing is a must for the woods - add 3 or 4 teeth to rear for much better performance off-road. Oh yeah, tires are another must for true off road use - I've been happy with the Pirelli MT21s. Let me know if you want more detailed info...
