Try buying a new RS, then blowing a big wad of cash selling it after nine months to buy a new Daytona.

Guaranteed to really tick off the wife, especially when the RS was way more comfortable for a pillion.

Lucky for me I redid the kitchen last year, still had some credit in the brownie points department for that.

OK, so I'm getting some good advice here.
 
1. Buy the house, with a garage. 
 
2. Gradually fill it with toys. (I'm assuming "it" is the garage only. Last time I did motorcycle repair and storage in the living room I was in all sorts of trouble...).
 
3. When she notices and protests, ask for forgiveness and apologise for not getting permission. 
 
4. Carry on.
 
Anything else that can be added from those that know about maintaining wedded bliss???
