The '05 ST was one of the alternatives I considered too.
Amazingly when the prices came back from the BMW and Triumph dealers, taking
the (near identical) accessories list and trade in values into account the
BMW was cheaper than the new ST. I reckon it came down to BMW wanting to
make the sale where as the Triumph dealership didn't really seem to give a
rats ass about keeping my custom.
