I'm a big fan of the idea, but I'll tread lightly as I know we have some liSTers who seem to be against this kind of change.  I like what we have.  I see the benefits of a forum.  I would be behind a change to a forum.

At least with a forum, we could break the conversations into topics, like 
Tires, Suspension, Engine, Modifications, etc.  We'd also get the Threaded 
conversations.

All thread postings would be listed together no matter what the subject 
title, or how much data was (or wasn't) cut from the original post.   And 
Moderators would exist to keep things organized.

Searching would be easy, as would be archiving.  And we could make user 
storage space, host personal web pages (Cycle related, of course)
