[ST] Amazing Tales

I was just looking at another list and a guy was talking about “spitting
out” his #1 plug.  He is trying to find plausible reason how it could
happen.  It’s an 00 ST with about 27K miles and his dealer put new plugs in
at 24K and of course the dealer said they did nothing to cross thread or
over tighten the plug.  I have heard of hydrostatic lock causing bent valves
and even a broken conn rod, but I have never heard of a plug being spit out
of the head with the head side threads attached.  Any opinions?
