I think if you read the data, you'd be surprised (and it is actually making a case FOR your argument).  The tests showed that even when a rider is anticipating a hard stop, the ABS stops faster.  So obviously the ABS would be at least that much better in a real emergency when you are not prepared....

As for these so called tests " with racers" .. IMO they are useless... ABS
is there for emergencies... in tests where riders KNOW they are trying to
brake without locking, how does that equate with real emergencies when you
are not " prepared ". Its utter tosh really.
