I can state that the '05 ST clutch is not a straight swap. On New Year's Day, the DC Rats went out for a ride. Our pack leader riding his '05 ST went down (traffic circle, cold temperatures, Bridgestone tires = low speed low side). His clutch lever broke near the pin. I had my stock levers (I replaced mine with Pazzo Racing adjustable and dog-legged levers). They DID NOT mount up. Some duck tape and McGuyver-like thinking, and we made it workable for him to get home.

I believe we already confirmed that the adjustable clutch
lever from the '05+ Sprint is also a straight swap and probably
more effective than the dog leg (I've got it as well, doesn't
make a big difference).
