I got a bit more than 30 years to go before I retire, but I did
have a Zundapp with handshifter (also clutch) and forced air-
cooling (fan in side of engine casing). Shifting was done by
rotating the left grip, lever and all. My Kaptein Mobylette
was easier, a primitive CVT.
