[ST] new product lighting; Philips MotoVision and extraDuty

Philips is coming with new headlights for motorcycles soon.

Motovision is a new system of high performance lights with 40% more, white light, reaching 10 to 20m further than ordinary lights.
They do have an orange reflection.
  Because it's Dutch ?
No because orange has a better illumination then yellow.
  Why add any colour?
Because 89,6% of the accidents with motorcycles involved are at the front side and due to the "other roaduser" not seeing the motorcycle. Orange has the effect of a warninglight...

Extraduty is designed for gravity forces up to 20G (a fighterjet can handle upt to 9G). Research learns that 35% of the headlights used in motorcycles gets defect before the end of the normal lifecycle due to heavy fibrations.

Both come in H4 and H7.

Info from: local newspaper in Holland dated February 18, 2006

Couldn't find any info on the site of Philips lighting.
There is some info in French though:

  Cheers!
