Re: [ST] Two Questions



That's what I was thinking, I just wanted another opinion.  They were good at 12K from what the shop told me.  I don't have exact numbers.  I was going to change the oil and coolant tonight for my big riding weekend and wait until after the big week to pop the cover and check the valves.

Thanks for reaffirming my thought.  I feel better knowing that if the engine breaks I can blame someone else. ;-)  
JUST KIDDIN.

I'll try to get good pictures of Bike Week for those who wish they were there.

Regarding the first question. I would most likely change the oil and 
do a basic check over before any long trip. As for the valves how 
were they at 12K miles?? if they were spot on I don't see any problem 
putting several thousand on before getting them checked.
