Speaking of cheap boxes, a local rider to me showed me a top case he'd

It looked almost exactly like a Givi E460 I think it is, down to the 
internal structure and latching mechanism, though it did feel as if it was 
made of a cheaper grade of plastic and the mount plate was plastic as 
well.  We did take it off of his bike and it mounted right up to my real 
Givi top box mount.

For occasional or not so rugged use these may be a viable alternative?
