I don't have any firsthand experience with CO, but over on
Sport-touring.net (one of my hiding places) there are a few people in
your area that ride.  They post "ride reports" showing their routes,
including pictures and sometimes videos.  This might help you...
This, for example (

and a little west of where you are.  If you get on the ST.N forum,
Region 3 would be your home...

Just moved to Louisville, near Boulder, CO.  Can someone suggest a good

hour or so ride in that area?  A road with medium twisties?
