Phakisa was a fun track to watch...  Too bad it got pulled.  I guess it
was dropped to make room for Qatar and the 5,000 people who watch that
race live.  It must be nice to have enough money to build a racetrack
for your son, and then pay FIM to bring MotoGP to it...

We have a great track here at Phakisa in Welkom, but lost the moto GP
to
other countries for lots of reasons, including lack of big support
from
local crowds.

At the moment there is no MotoGP or formula one event anywhere in
Africa.
