Re: [ST] Tire Pressures



It is true that lower pressures let the tire heat up more.
But some tires need lower pressures to get the most mileage.
I have only one example, Dunlope D220
I ran a rear at 42psi and it did not last 3000 miles (60% of normal).
The tire saw slipping (gently) which cause extra wear. Lower pressure and more grip would lead to less slip and longer life.
