Re: [ST] Loose rear wheel

Working inward from the large nut, there's the cone washer (that's what I'm missing), the flat washer, then a part that looks to be a flanged insert for the rim (from looking at the shop manual diagram).

I spoke with the service department at the dealer this morning, and they're going to haul the bike down there to check everything over. Coincidentally, they use a machine shop (I think that's what he said) that's just a couple miles from where I live. They're picking up some things there tonight, so the guy is going to swing by and load up the ST.

>>Problem is, it's the only Triumph dealer for a long ways (Erico Motorsports in Denver).

If you want absolutly ride it, try to make an alloy washer, even if not conic, or even
if you don't have sufficient thick alloy sheet, steel washer plus alloy whasher in contact w/ the rim.
I think the outer diameter of the alloy washer must be very accurate.

By the way I am currently watching the schematic. There is 3 washers plus the nut. I would say one cone,
one steel washer and one counter cone getting in the rime. Which one is missing. If it's the first, not big deal,
I would say any washer w/ the ~good outer diam and inner diam is ok. It's just a shim w/ good looking. If it's the last, oups!
