[ST] stand

Anyone ever had their SSW jam on the paddock stand ?

It happened to me a few months ago, and I had to have the pin machined
to get it smooth again.

I cleaned out the shaft before I slid the stand in, but I must have
missed a piece of grit. Turned the wheel a few times and it suddenly
locked up. It took a five pound hammer and a thick piece of dowel to get
the stand out.

I smoothed the inside of the shaft with some 1500 grit paper, and I'm
using some wd40 on the pin.

Any advise on how to stop it happening again?

Thanks

marc
