[ST] Helmets

I love my Arai -fits well (me anyway!), low noise and very stable at
speed. The downsides : price (a bit expensive) and a really rubbish
visor mechanism. It's a real swine to get the visor on and off -I've
already broken a clip trying to get it back on -also expensive.

I don't know if its any better in a crash - I cant be bothered to
understand snell vs. ...vs.... but it wont be worse than any other.

I had a cheapie before, a Vemar, but it generated too much noise and
wobbled at speed.

In a big shunt involving something hitting your head the helmet probably
wont save you anyway - what protects your neck?

Cheers

Marc
