Re: [ST] Old bikes

My very first big bike:

a 1984 Suzuki Katana bought new in 1985, also my first new bike, and my first road bike.

I will never forget the pride I felt in riding it off the floor. It was heavy, slow but I had massive fun on the thing.

My worst bike ever : a 1987 Kawasaki Gpz 750 -unreliable, handled like a pig and generally didn't impress me much. A moment of complete insanity to sell the Katana and worse to buy that scrap.

Most boring bike ever : a white BMW F650 (the original Beemer F650 built by Aprilia)- I cant fault anything it did, it just never inspired me. I did get to see some great scenery on it though.

cheers
