Re: [ST] Sprint RS Conversion

I don't suppose an RS would qualify as a T595, would it?

Subject: [ST] Sprint RS Conversion

I had a thought (smell the smoke? ;-)

What would it take to setup a SPRINT RS for the track? I know the
stock suspension sucks so I'll at least need to rebuild the front forks.
I think I can get away with leaving the rear shock alone, however it's
got 25000 miles on it.

How about rear sets? Are there different foot pegs to add?

How about body work? I haven't seen anything that says it can be
mounted to a Triumph let alone an RS. Anything to replace the front
fairing with that doesn't have headlights?

Final question, should I even bother or just save up for a separate bike
setup for track only? I figure if I have to drop $3000 into the RS I
could buy a used SV650 ready to go already and not have to worry about
trashing my street ride.
