Brian,
I'm 5'6" also and have used the ZG Touring screen for 2 years and have no complaints. I find it much better than stock. I haven't tried any other screens. I do get some head buffeting occassionaly but it always appears to happen on the very windy/gusty days. On days like that I lay down on the tank and enter the cone of silence behind the screen.
