Re: [ST] How it fell over



Have you had luck fueling the bike while sitting on it?  This keeps it
vertical and reduces the chance of a drop.  Requires a bit of
flexibility, depending on the pump set up.  Makes fuel stops pretty
quick too!

It just occured to me to pass this experience along.
About a month ago, my '00 Sprint ST fell over for the first time. It was
raining when I stopped for gas. As I was putting the bike on the
centerstand my boot slipped off. Ever so slowly the bike toppled away
from me. I just could not hold it up. I was lucky. It only scratched the
fairing a bit.

Since then I have added a piece of the "grip" tape to the tab on the
centerstand. Sorry I don't know what the tape is called. It is like very
rough sandpaper on one side and sticky on the other.
