It's the alarm LED if you have an alarm fitted.  The repairers broke
mine (ha ha).

Any LED from an electronics shop will do so I put in a high-intensity
blue one.  It's a push fit.  I believe the resistor is elsewhere (like
in the alarm perhaps?).

So I am putting the body on the bike, I grab the fron fairing and a
cable attached to the little center light falls off. It looks to go to
an LED like thingy(very technical term here) sitting next to the bulb,
which is fine and still connected to its wires. Seems the leads to the
thingy rusted and broke off. Anyone know what type of thingy this is and
what is its function?
