Re: [ST] Tires (uh, oh...)

I engine the crap out of the bike, and really roll on the throttle mid corner until it starts to wander. I find that the engine braking chews the hell out of center as I enter a corner, and the throttle while leaned over pushes the rubber on the edges. Most weekend riding like this destroys the rear tire, yet leave the front tire looking pretty good. While at the Dragon I was riding much harder - out-braking manuevers, higher corner entry speeds (and originally consciously using more front braking when I was trying to get the rear to last until I got hom, which didn't work anyway....). That has worn the front tire on me much faster than my weekend blasts. Hopefully I can get these to last until May 22 for the track day, and then I'll either try the Pilot Powers (which I've heard a lot of good things about) or the Pirelli Diablos.
