Re: [ST] How it fell over

Spilage won't ignite on the "hot" exhaust, it's not hot enough to get the liquid. It's the vapors that will ignite from a spark first.

How do I know you ask? Well, about two years ago I had this fuel level sending unit leak then this gas tank hose adapter really leak fuel all over everything. My leg, the "hot" exhaust, everywhere. No fire. I wasn't about to leave the bike in a strange parking lot until I can get it home, so I even drove it the 45min to home.

I wouldn't worry. I pump gas all the time while sitting on her.

I wouldn't fancy sitting on the bike when pumping fuel. If you have a spillage
it ends up in your crotch, and if it spills onto a hot exhaust and catches
fire you can't run away without climbing off the bike first.
