Re: [ST] PA & WV Roads

Just my opinion, but 120 along the W. Branch of the Susquehanna is a super
pretty ride from St.Mary's to Lock Haven. If you have time, my favorite
piece of road is a 5 or 6 mile stretch of 144 from about 2 or three miles
south of Renova to the top of the valley. Great view at the top but you
just watch the asphault in the twisties getting there. If you come back by
way of Harrisburg, PA 125 is the place to go for eastern PA drivers. Fun to
run but not a whole lot to see. With your time constraints I don't think
you will get too deep into WV. If I was on a tight sced, I'd shoot for the
Seneca Rocks - Spruce Knob area. You have WV 28, US 33, US 250/219 all
forming a big loop going through Elkins and around Spruce Knob. You can
even take 33 into VA which is a fun ride too. US 219 is one nice way to get
to Elkins but it's only one of many. Man I would sure like to get up there
myself.
