Thanks for the info.  That is exactly what I expected.  I believe that
neither Triumph nor any other manufacturer treats a warrantee claim like a
crime scene investigation unless there is something glaringly obvious.

I know one of the warranty guys at Triumph and he has stated to me that they
have never revoked anyone's warranty claims because of oil problems.  They
never even investigate it.  Triumph has replaced whole engines without
questioning the oil thru warranty claims.  They don't have a long history of
it, but they occasionally get one that grenades itself.  That was a couple
years ago that he told me that, I suspect nothing has changed.
