I've used the Triumph Touring Screen for a couple of years. Works OK
at reducing winter-wind blast, and is otherwise pretty functional.
Having recently changed bike I've not yet put touring screen on new
one, and I've found stock screen is much quieter (but wind-blast is
an issue when it is cold). I think I'm cruising at about 15mph less
on motorway with the lower screen (probably a good thing, but does
show screen works). If you are wrong size (i.e. more than about 6
foot I suspect) the turbulence hits you right at bottom of helmet,
leading to noise and buffeting that can get pretty tedious. Adding
Saeng tape round edge of screen helps, but if you plan to travel
regularly above about 50 mph, you'll need either really good earplugs
(my solution) or one of those helmet collars that are apparently
v.good at killing off such noise.

So, limited success. Unfortunately not yet had chance to ride bike
with any other alternative screen fitted.
