[ST] Plugging the Windscreen Vent

Hey Kids--I recently saw a photo of a sportbike with duct tape over the front windscreen vent. Anyone here tape over the vent on their ST in cold weather? Did it improve things? How does it affect the airflow over the screen? I am usually pretty comfy provided I am dressed appropriately. 
   
  Curious mind wants to know!
