In addition to excellent list Chris set forth, I would remove the battery
from the bike and place it in a suitable Tupperware or similar plastic
container big enough to hold all the battery fluid, should the case leak or
the battery overflow for some reason. Then hook up the battery tender (NOT a
trickle charger). Though chances of nasty battery surprise are slim, this
way they're zero.
