Re: [St] Oil Filter Search - Now Nova Scotia Touring

Hi Kevin,

Yes, Nova Scotia is a great place to ride a motorcycle. My absolute favorite ride, which I would try to do once a year when I lived in Halifax, was to ride the Cabot Trail (the road around Cape Breton Island). If anyone else is considering that run, yes, there is a correct way to ride that circular route - counterclockwise - so you are not trying to squint past all the SUV cages to get a look at the ocean scenery! Aso, as suggested in another post today; plan your stay around the B&Bs in the area. The owners are always intersting people and will talk your ear off if that suits you! My pick in all of Cape Breton is the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck. This is my favorite museum in all of Canada. It is run by Parks Canada, costs next to nothing to get in, and chronicals the life, times and inventions of the brinlliant mind of AGB. Allow at least three hours for a first visit.

As for the annual SBK races in Shubie, I will send out a broader invitation if I put that on my Aug touring roster for next summer!

Jeremy,

I am posting a separate "ride report" from last week, however, it focuses on my likes and dislikes of the Sprint ST.

Cheers,

Brian

Brian - just got back from a tour of Nova Scotia.... Fantastic place to
ride. Wish I'd known about the races as we might well have gone to
that.
