Yesterday was my birthday and my wife bought me a Spot. I guess she  
really loves me after all. Either that or she wants to track me where  
ever I go. Of course I can always forget to take it if I want to do  
something devious.

I do a lot of solo riding in remote areas so I figured this would be  
a good thing to have.

I thought it would be good to include the Sprint list on my Help list  
too, and would encourage anybody else that has one to do the same.  
I'll be sending a test message from the unit in a few minutes just so  
you can see what it looks like. Don't come looking for me, I'm safely  
at home.

I went ahead and signed up for the full service which came out to  
about $158/yr. Small price to pay for piece of mind when out in the  
boonies motorcycling, photographing, or snow shoeing.
