Re: [ST] Stebel horn



I don't think you are correct.  The lines from the horn switch go to the
relay, NOT to the horn directly.

so i understand correctly. follow the instruction per twisted throttle,
except hook up the negative ground from the horn to the negative side of the
horn switch.  so my question is when i touched the wires from the horn to
the battery terminals why wasn't the horn very loud?

I found out that the switch is negative interrupt (at least on Triumphs). If
you hook it up as per Twisted Throttle (negative to
frame) the horn will always sound. Connect the negative to one of the two
original wires from the horn (not the orange) and you're set to go. Took me
a while to figure it out but it works.
