Oh really, which version is your and how much longer before the next 
OS makes it obsolete & unsupported??
I always loved the great new versions of software that you had to 
upgrade the entire operating system of just to get it to work.

That was what drove me away from MAC's.
The constant upgrading of hardware or purchasing of new machines, as 
well a operating systems, really got old fast.

Every time I turned my head, my MAC needed to upgrade hardware or OS.
Instead I finally bought a PC for about a third of the cost of a good 
MAC at that time, with a plan.
The plan is simple keep this machine for 3-5 years, Then buy another 
and sell the first.

Or let me put it another way. Unlike almost everything else in my 
life, I buy computers like many people still buy cars.

I may check out the new MAC's next year when I go to buy a new 
laptop, but I don't really expect to find myself buying one.
My AMD/windows xp pro laptop cost me about 60% of what a comparable 
MAC would have.
