I have also experienced front wear issues on the Sprint (1 x AV45) and
on the Hawk (2 x AV45) when using the mfg recommended pressures (or
simply not keeping up with the checking routine!).  The consensus has
been add 4-5 lbs on top of the recommended pressure and in at least one
case, the increased pressure evened out the cupping and eliminated the
unpleasant front end feeling (on the Hawk).

Hey Bill, you say that you are running the triumph listed pressures?
I suggest that you raise the front and rear pressures to about 38 and 45
psi.
I had some strange sensations on the Azaros on my VFR until I bumped 
up the pressures to the numbers recommended buy Avon/
