Do you have more info - it should not be possible to start the bike
with the alarm enabled as a 'proper' install immobilises the engine - or
was that your problem?

What year ST?

The Datatool alarms (factory job) link into the loom under the rear of
the seat on my 00 RS.  A shorting plug was removed (and should have been
retained) in order to install it.

Otherwise its down to batteries in the remote unit.  I assume you tried
close proximity?  The unit on mine is behind the RHS seat surround.

Seems I was unable to turn it off tonight to ride home. That was a
