Re: [ST] Flat Battery

Hi Chris

Mine went poor recently and I twice jumped it off the car. It is advisable to switch off the car and it is theoretically possible to damage some of the car electronics if you spark the jump clips but the same goes for car-to-car jumping. Seeing as how riding the bike if far more important than having a working car, I'd go ahead and do it - oh, I did didn't I?

Latest news. New battery and replaced neutral switch - still idles at 2k+ rpm when hot.

Not haven ridden my bike for the past couple of months the battery is dead.
As this has never happened to me before can some one please tell me the best
solution. Can one take a jump from a car or is the current too much?

Many thanks
Chris
