Jeremy,

I had an accident on my ST about a year and a half ago and did a lot of
looking for used parts in good shape with no luck whatsoever. I even
contacted a place in the UK thinking (even with shipping) it might work
out cheaper... they didn't have the parts. I ended up going to a place
that specializes in motorcycle body work. These kinds of places can
rebuild tabs and patch cracks with really strong epoxies and fillers.
The parts came back matching color exactly and looking great... and
they're very solid. I don't know where you are... but the place I used
is called "Born Again Fairings" and they're in San Dimas, CA. 151 S
Eucla Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773-2901, (909)592-7638. No affiliation.

I had them repair and repaint both (left and right) middle panels (the
biggest ones). One side was only scratched but the other was ground
down and cracked from the crash. I didn't have them replace the decals.
The cost for both fairings was $380. Way less than replacing them and
strong as new.

If you're not near here you might be able to ship the parts to them...
or find a similar shop in your area.

Just my $.02 worth of experience.

P.S. If you do find a good place with cheap parts... please let us all
know. The best advice I could get at the time was check EBay.

P.S.S. If all you need is to repair tabs... I bought a product from a
company that sells repair epoxies for body shops. You can use it to
rebuild tabs and repair cracks yourself. I used it on some of the parts
that weren't visible and it has held strong with no problems for over a
year now. Here's the url

http://www.urethanesupply.com/plastifixintro.html

Again, no affiliation. Check out the video (linked at the top of the
page)... it shows repairing a motorcycle fairing tab. It might look
flimsy but this stuff is strong.
