Re: [ST] RIP?

Rick,

Go sit on a DR650. It has a hi/lo seat height option, and at the lower
setting, I can touch better on that then on my ST. I'm 5' 5" with a 27"
inseam. It's hard to be shorter than me. My CRF230 has a taller seat, and
I fit really well on that. Plus, the DR is lighter, the concern over
dropping the bike at a stop isn't as great for me on the DR as it is on my
ST. The Honda and the Kawi are both much taller. The only issue with the DR
is that it really needs a new pipe and rejetting to get to its potential
performance. The Honda is more powerful out of the shop. And, for all
three 650 Dual Sports, not much has changed on them in the last 10 years.
Don't mess with what works?

No matter which DS you might pick, there are great aftermarket options for
bigger tanks, plastics, pipes.
