Hey, help me out here. I know the tiger is a heck of a bike with the 
1050 triple and all that but, I would have thought that you would 
have wanted the added weather protection of the sprint st.
My dad's family in Oregon, having visited them several times I would 
say that the climate there is wet, and that there is precipitation 
almost everyday. I like in NJ and commute from the one side of the 
state to other, and here as well I pretty much encounter moisture 
everyday. It is also often windy here so the weather protection and 
height of any bike is an important point to me.

Is the tradeoff  in weight and handling versus the full fairings 
really worth all that much?

I'm currently on a honda vfr and looking to get onto a sprint st.
