I bought a vacuum pump for bleeding my brakes last year. It was rather fun to
use compared to pump the brake pedal or handle. However, I noticed that every
bleed screw allowed air to be sucked past the threads as soon as I loosened
it and started pumping. Would a little teflon tape really prevent this? I
suspect one would have to careful with its application.
Thanks for any input.
