Re: [St] If you've been there, done that ... I'm looking for advice on places to stay March 3-5next year for Bike Week

I haven't been to Bike Week since 1988 and that year we just went on a whim
and were lucky to find a hotel on the strip with an open room. Nowadays, I
suspect that would be impossible.
I have also had the same thoughts as Doug. I looked into it briefly last
year but as I recall, most hotels had minimum stays of the full week and I
couldn't take that much time off. I thought about staying in
Orlando/Kissimmee to take advantage of all the Disney-related hotels but
according to MapQuest, that looks to be about 1.5 hours away too.
Anyone else with some ideas?
Pete
