Re: [St] '99 Sprint ST for sale
I bought my KLR650 because I figured it was a relaxing and non dangerous way
to spend time on two wheel cruising through roads that my Daytona cant do.
I figured 39kw on roads with very few cars has got to be safer than blasting
through mountain passes on the Daytona at very silly speeds.
What happens: monster wipe out on the KLR650, a week in hospital and almost
four months of pain and misery while the ankle put itself back together. By
far my worst fall in 27 years of riding.
Dangerous is a relative concept!
Oh by the way, it helps to know whats on the other side of a hill when you
go barreling over the top.
Bikes dont stop well downhill on the marbles.......
cheers
