Yes it will work.  The directions are the same.  I have one on my 99.  I
used the directions from the web site to put on my 99.

just got my 99 ST 955 and was wondering if its possible to fit a datatool  
digi gear indicator. i removed it from my old bike. i have no instructions
for  
it and the web site only refers to 2002 models st's. if it can, has any one

got a e mailable version of the fitting instructions.  Thanks.
