Carb cleaner is cheap and works great to degrunge the engine and greasy 
spots.  I try not to get it on the paint.  Comes with a handy spray nozzle 
for 'pressure washing'. I don't use it on the chain.

WD-40 or simple green takes grease and bugs off the paint.  WD-40 for the 
chain.  Just wash the bike thoroughly afterwards and use your favorite lube 
on the chain too.
