I had a weak battery for a while.  Bump starting is the reason I hadn't
installed the rear seat cowl yet (it gives someone a place to grab onto when
they're pushing!).  I usually had enough juice to get the gauges working
and, if I was lucky, get one engine twist.  But I would think that if
there's enough to power the gauges and you hear the fuel pump pressurising,
there's enough to fire the plugs.
