[St] speedo problems

Thanks for the tip about the front wheel sensor. I think you might have hit on the problem. I have pulled the wheel off and there seem to be no moving parts in the sensor! so something is obvously seized. There is an inner steel collar which the axle runs through and around that but inside the assembly is another collar with two notches on either side is that the magnet?
