This subject was evoked here two or tree months ago. The headlight must 
be changed,
because in the UK you ride on the wrong side of the road ;-) unless 
you're in the UK for a very short period
in which case you keep your originale country registration (vacation 
trip and the like).
You should probably contact either the local DMV or triumph.

About power limitation like down here in France, you shouldn't be 
bothered in the UK.
An other point is the emissions. I don't know if UK require catalytic 
exhaust. But as in California you're
supposed to have it no problem here.
