Found it Matt, "W Reg" means it's likely a 2000 model year.  I think he's in the 
UK where they've had this lettering schema: http://www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk/ 
under the Year/Registration link.  Direct Access appears to be rider training.

and I had another that truely was a "Check list" but can't seem to find it at 
the moment, I'm sure a little googling would turn up more tips on what to look at...

In addition to the usuals, at 20k I'd ask if the chain/sprockets had been done 
and get a good eyeball on the brake pads for thickness.  And see that any 
recalls/TSB's have been performed.

Only weird note that comes to my mind is having the magnet seize in the speed 
sensor on both my '99 and '03.
