Re: [St] List Consensus on Maintenance?

Rob,

Just a little ways south of you is Cascade Moto
Classics. You could give Liz a call there about your
parts. I'm sure she'd be happy to help you.

 >Hi All,

I'm pulling my 2004 ST out of winter storage and
getting it ready for this
year. I've had it almost 4 years but it only has
6,100 miles on it. I'm
curious what others do for maintenance when it comes
to mileage vs. time.
The two intervals in the manual I'm looking at are
6,000 miles/2 years and
the things that should be done at 3 and 4 years. I
suppose I should just do
all the 4 year maintenance but things like the spark
plugs, air filter, and
fuel filter seem more like mileage items and not time
items like brake
fluid.

Related to the above, the service manual says to
replace the seals in the
calipers and master cylinders at 4 years. It also
says to replace the fuel
hoses. Does anyone have a good source for these
besides the dealer? The
closest dealer (Lakewood Motorsports in Lakewood, WA)
just started selling
Triumphs a few months ago and doesn't stock many
parts yet. I'm not very
excited about the other two dealers in my area either.

The third option is to trade the Sprint in on a new
Tiger. My back and my
wife would love the change but my wife and my wallet
wouldn't like the
costs. :)
